(December 17, 2020, 1:22 pm)I wish I had called this place before I dropped the price on the home we sold (309 Meadow lane in Lake in the hills).
Before Terri staged our home, every review we received from showings was negative. “Rooms were too small, not functional” were amongst the most common. We dropped the price by $5000 to try to attract buyers. Even with the $5000 drop, the negative feedback kept rolling in. House was listed for over a month (roughly 6 weeks) without a single bite.
We hired Terri to stage the home to show just how functional it could be. The feedback we received from new showing instantly became positive and at worst people felt “indifferent” about the home. We had an offer within 2-3 weeks after staging. The wife and I are seriously kicking ourselves in the rear for dropping the price before staging. Terri did an amazing job showing how functional the place could be, she explained the process thoroughly so we never felt “lost” or confused, and the cost to stage the entire upstairs was less than expected. Cost to stage was over $3000 less than the price drop on our listing.
I would absolutely recommend Terri to anyone looking to sell their home. She was worth her weight in gold.
