Conversation I just had with my boss.

Boss: hey uhh everything alright? Noticed you haven't gotten a lot done since you got back from lunch.
Me: oh yeah sorry. I opened a bag of puppchow i got from Punky Cakes and it was so f'n good I had to eat it all before I could concentrate on anything else.
Boss: oh man, that sounds awesome. 'an i have some?
Me:........ No. You need to get your own.

I guess what im trying to say is this place is awesome and you should check it out.

I am so glad Punky Cakes is in Northbrook. The cookies, cake jars, brownies and cupcakes are amazing. Check FB each day for what’s available. Their custom cakes are amazing and works of art. This isn’t Jewel or Mariano’s. Cakes need to be ordered well in advance BUT each week there are usually several cakes in the case for sale. This is a small business run by a local mom. She is super talented. Just understand what kind of bakery this is before leaving a negative review and trashing a small business. It’s grab and go desserts (sometimes cakes and sometimes not) and gorgeous custom cakes (order weeks in advance). ALSO, feel free to call…they have a phone…and ask what is available and what they are able to do last minute.

I go to Punky Cakes once a week. The cookie bites, PB&J Cake Jars & stuffed cookies are highly addictive. This Pineapple Cherry Cupcake & Cookie Monster Cookie are just a small sample of the creativity that they put into everything they bake. Some of the items that they sell look so cool that you almost feel bad about eating them.. Almost.

Ready to take home treats in the shop change daily so stop by frequently to discover new items! Highly recommended!!
