The staff is courteous and actively works to alleviate problems with some of the more entitled members. It would be great if they could get some of the more used machines in there such as the cables and smith machines as these tend to be consistently full.

Such a great place to throw a party. Kitchen was amazing. Big island to lay out food. Space was open and such a great atmosphere.

I took my kids to the Candy Cane Hunt at the McHenry Recreation Center today and it was such a great time. All of the employees were wonderful! All of the employees were so friendly and kind in helping all of the kids make different Christmas Crafts and decorate their own Christmas Cookie. This was a wonderful event and will be a new tradition for our family. This recreation center is one of many things that make McHenry such a great place to raise a family.

This place has helped me out immensely in 2 ways. I'm fairly new to McHenry and when my sister passed away last summer, my brother and I ended up renting the 3 big rooms in the back for a celebration of her life and everything went smoothly. And now, I'm using the gym to work through my grief. It's very clean and inviting, and not a lot of people there when I go on weekday afternoons. Thanks to everybody who works there :)
