All the 5 star reviews I read were true. Luckily, Invicta offers a free class to check out the gym which I gladly took advantage of! Super nice gym, has everything you need to get a good workout in, but I was most excited about the kickboxing. Everyone (including Owner, Coach and other gym goers) were super nice and welcoming. Even though I’m inexperienced, I felt like I learned alot and got an awesome workout in (very good for stress relief!) Highly suggest checking them out. I look forward to taking more kickboxing classes as soon as I am able.
Invicta kicked my butt (in a good way). Classes have been challenging and motivating. 60 minute’s definitely goes by fast. The facility is friendly and clean. Staff are helpful and welcoming to all skill levels. Definitely worth a try !
I’m 15 and my parents have been trying to find a good place for me to get in shape, and this is definitely the place! I tried their kickboxing class and it was really awesome! The trainers there are so supportive and kind, and they don’t mind if you ever need a moment to slow down or take a water break. The gym has a bunch of equipment that you can use, but my favorite is definitely the bags. This place really made me sweat and work hard, I’m excited for my next kickboxing class! This place is a 10/10 and I definitely recommend anyone looking to tone up, get in shape, or just wanting to learn self defense, to go here!
I love it here! In no particular order:
1. It’s clean ✨
2. There’s is so much equipment available for use
3. The instructors are patient, motivating, accommodating (of injuries/pain), and simply amazing
4. Members are friendly, welcoming and motivating too and create a #fitfam community
5. The classes provide a foundation for technique that you build on over time, weight lifting and conditioning are part of classes too so it’s like personal training and group classes combined 🥊🥊🏋🏻♀️
I made it a point to check out Invicta coming from the Pulaski Park/Noble Square area of Chicago and it was well worth the drive!
Invicta is very clean, and they make sure to sanitize the equipment surfaces. The energy is electric in the space (their music is on point- it definitely helps pump you up!)
The trainers are extremely capable with plenty of experience, and you can tell they're passionate about what they do. The personnel at Invicta will encourage you to push your limits throughout a session while making sure your technique/form is correct every step of the way.
As for the equipment, if I remember correctly: there are hanging heavy bags, free standing bags, plyometric jump boxes, free weights, cardio machines, TRX suspension training bands, and I'm sure there's more I’m forgetting.
So whether you’re a beginner or expert, needing group classes, one-on-one personal training, or an open gym to get in the zone on your own (which is what I usually do), I would highly suggest giving Invicta a try!
