(March 28, 2023, 12:10 am)I visited during the work day, in the Spring, and it was very cold. It was a very nice area though low laying which led to lots of top water. I imagine after rain it would be pretty muddy. The pond does have fish in it and I saw some boys pull up a good size fish from the water though not sure what regulations there are... there was plenty of parking. I give it a 4 only because I wish the playground was bigger.

(January 29, 2023, 1:36 pm)Great place to hike; very clean; friendly people walking dogs. Hubby and I did a 2 hr hike in cold and snow. It was refreshing. We come here often from Chicago to hike this area.

(September 20, 2022, 8:01 pm)I liked this place, it has everything to be perfect for a nice walk, it has benches and this a great thing for kids and elderly people. I saw 4 bathrooms.
Many trails ( red, pink, yellow) and very easy to follow the arrows .
Beautiful scenes and amazing nature.
Closing by sunset , has a nice clean playground for the kids -

Two lakes, beautiful bridges, piers, paths for walking and cycling, tables, benches, drinking water, toilets, garbage cans. Beautiful playgrounds, a place for volleyball, picnic eria.

(December 23, 2021, 1:37 pm)This is a beautiful place to walk, good space for parking, and the trail is connected to several county’s across the state so you can be there for hours walking or riding a bike.
We went there in winter so you probably need to be prepared with several layers, as the wind can get super cold
