I have known about Montessori method of education long before I become a parent, I always wanted one day my children to go through that education. When that time came I begun searching for the right Montessori school. I was willing to travel more if I have to, just wanted to find a good one. I visited every Montessori school in 10 miles radius from my home and I couldn’t be more happier with The Grove Montessori School. I’m writing this review with tears in my eyes, I can’t believe my little baby grew up and time past so fast-he graduated kindergarten and now he is continuing his educational journey. We are missing The Grove Montessori so much! The school is amazing, the teachers are awesome, every single thing in the school environment is touching you in a peaceful and a calm way. My son enjoyed every single day spend there. When I had to chose his elementary school I walked around many public and private schools, and there is nothing to compare to The Grove Montessori environment. I feel so fortunate, that I found The Grove Montessori, my son received an exceptional care and training. The owners of the school carefully choose their stuff and everyone is very knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, giving the best possible care for the little ones. The kids get prepared really well. My son became very social and independent, he is completely ready for first grade, he can read, he knows so many things and when he got tested at his new school they told me that his math level is for second grader. For which I’m giving all the credit to the great program at The Grove Montessori and especially to the great teachers, who were preparing him with love and patience every single day. I really appreciate their hard work and admire their dedication. If you are on a search for quality educational daycare this is the right one!!!

I've had two daughters in The Grove Montessori for the past 1.5 years. My girls are now aged 3.5 and just turning 5. It has been an excellent experience for the whole family!

I've seen my girls develop beautifully and make great friends in the process. My older daughter is now going to Kindergarten and I'm confident she has the skills interpersonally and in basic reading and math to have a successful start.

When my girls first started at The Grove Montessori my wife and I were concerned about whether our girls would frequently get sick from the other kids and how that might impact our work schedules. We had experienced this at 2 prior day care locations. I learned that at The Grove Montessori this concern was unfounded. My girls rarely got sick.

They have enjoyed their experience - would be excited to go to school and would come home with beaming smiles most days.

Could not recommend more highly. Our children have been well nurtured at this school!

My boys 15months and 4 year old both go to Ms. Mina's Montessori school. There are several reasons I chose this school and will walk you through as a parent I am sure you are reading this to know if the school is good and will best fit your kid.
As I researched plenty of schools in the area some turned me away instantly if the odor was disgusting or if the area was not clean.
The few I shortlisted I visited not once not twice but 3 times each. This one just won my heart over - Ms Mina knows each and every kid in her school and their strengths and weakness. She and her staff personally cater to each child and step out of their normal methods to help a child grow beautifully. I was very impressed with her personal attention to detail. I observed her class, teachers and never once felt that there were too many kids for one teacher to handle. Kids simply get absorbed in their project and my son speaks of it at home with enthusiasm.
My older one has made friends in his class and as a parent I get to meet other parents and kids on school picnics, field trips! What fun incorporating field trips in their curriculum.

Overall place is clean, good material for kids and friendly teachers and staff! And I should also mention how Ms. Mina accommodated my need to drop off kids slightly earlier because of my commute to downtown for work. Which school will do this for you and your family? I love love love this school.

Kids need to have fun at this age- this is what is guaranteed here.

"There is no other place I can see my kids in. Honestly. We originally lived in Palatine, close to The Grove Montessori and my almost 2 year old son was in their pre-primary program in 2010. He was very attached to me, however, the teachers were so loving that he quickly adapted and stopped crying when I was dropping him off. Later, I took him out of school because we moved to Hoffman Estates and I had a baby. But when it was time for me to go back to work, The Grove Montessori, again, was my first choice. I have to drive 10 miles one way now, but it’s totally worth it. I visited many other Montessori schools. We actually have one 2 blocks away from my house, however, we still picked The Grove Montessori. I’ve always had nothing but the best experiences. Today, both of my children are in their primary program. They are excited to come to school every day. Teachers are so caring and knowledgeable. They can find an approach to any child. Children are exposed to all Montessori materials without being pushed to do it. The atmosphere in the school is so warm, it feels like home. I have never felt it in any other school. My picky eaters love the organic lunches and ask for seconds. Kids spend a lot of time outside, which is great. Field trips are always fun and well-organized. I highly recommend this school to any parent who is interested in a Montessori program."

My son was in Ms. Mindy's class from 16 months until almost 3. He loved his teachers and his friends and went to school very happily every day. He learned many social and practical skills and the potty training was primarily led by the teachers with us parents following suit! He enjoyed the music/spanish class very much and loved to be a leader to the younger kids. We enjoyed the family nights and the great food that staff prepared, and the administration was very flexible about his end date when we were relocating. Overall, we're happy that we chose the small, family setting of The Grove Montessori for our son where the focus was on Montessori method.
