Simple elegance on the water. Very clean, quiet rooms. Manager was awesome. Very friendly and helpful through our stay. Highly recommend The Waterfront, any time of the year.

So this is a subjective 5 stars. This is by no means a 5 star hotel, but in the price range and location I certainly had a 5 star experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful but they aren't on property 24 hours a day. There is NO WIFI (not a big deal for me.) the rooms seem to be nicely remodeled a few years ago and show a bit of normal hotel wear. The balcony view of the river is surprisingly lovely. The bathtub/shower needed some tlc, a deep clean would remove the rust and hard water stains that were quite bad. . The bedding looked lovely but the bed is a bit dated and the pillows were a bit thin (only two, I guess I'm spoiled by the red roof pick from 4 pillows style rooms.)

I definitely will stay with them again if I'm in the area.

Quick check in, which always leaves a good first impression. As far as the room goes, it was clean with the basic necessities. Some updates have been made, but it could probably use some more. The balcony facing the river was a nice touch, plus we appreciated the fact that it was quiet. There's not many frills added, but for the price, we were satisfied.
