I have to say I lived here when I was 13 and the sisters truly are amazing with all of the children and staff they saved my life
The St Joseph's Carmelite Home for Girls has been serving the children of northwest Indiana for more than 105 years. The residential facility provides a loving home for abandoned, abused and neglected children from birth to age 18. The Sisters volunteer their services 24-7 and deal with children difficult to deal with. But their love is redemptive and older children are encouraged to continue their education or find meaningful employment in the local community. Finances are always a concern but every child gets a new set of clothes when they arrive and another when they leave. Your gift and support is always appreciated and you may request a tour of the beautiful facility at any time.
