Even though I had to transfer during 7th grade, this is one of the top schools I've ever seen. It might not be in an amazing and outstanding neighborhood but it certainly exceeds above the rest. They give their students so many opportunities; they give you a chance to take Algebra 1 and Geometry so you won't have to take them in high school. Little by little, it shapes all of it's students to be great people. Although Summit may be tough for a handful of students, it's a great curriculum. Students respect each other and talk to an adult when it is needed. Food might not be the best either but at least they can provide food for every single student in the school. Even though Ms. Garcia just joined the staff members this year, she is such an amazing role model! She connects with all of the students and can understand them in a way no other teacher has. Mr. O'Malley pressures you just enough up to where you do an astonishing job on every single test. Mr. Czoski helps you when the video and text doesn't make much sense. Mrs. Larios teaches harder lessons to toughen you up. Mrs. Cloonan adds a little spice to the class in a fun way. Ms. Guzman gets jiggy with her lectures and lets us have a good time with it.
As an alumnus from the mid-90s, my experience at Lee School has shaped much of who I am today. Each and every teacher has made a significant impact on how I view the subjects they taught, and Mrs. Joy was a fantastic principal. I feel lucky to have received such a high quality education. I'm now a PhD student in Applied Math and Astrophysics at a top school, and credit my love for and success in math, science, and teaching to the teachers & faculty I had at Lee back when I was still a child.
This used to be my school but then I moved if you go to this school you will love it.
