Kyle was fantastic. He kept me updated throughput the entire process. I was happy about all the extensive service I needed except one item. The coolant overflow tank issue I told them about. They thought fixing all my coolant hose problems would solve the coolant low message from the overflow tank sensor. I found the sensor was still disconnected and had a jumper bypass wire in it that prevents that message from transmitting. The previous dealer I used bypassed the issue which I told them at Ray. So they never tested the sensor after the work was done. Other than that I was very happy especially because the mechanic found a idler arm problem while doing the hose work.
Everyone at Ray was so nice. From a mechanic that told me where to go in, to a friendly clerk and parts guys...all very nice.

The Service Manager Elizabeth is diligent and knows her industry. She is great with all customers. Her staff takes the extra time to give accurate information, that way we can make good financial decisions.

The 1 hour drive to Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake was well worth it. This same day, I drove my wife's Equinox to Piemonte's Chevrolet in Dundee and that was a disastrous experience. That review is on their page if interested in a good read plus I added my wife picture with her new 2023 from Ray Chevrolet. I was just about to switch my wife to Ford 😆. *Ray Chevrolet was a great experience. I called the delealership to see if they had any 2023 Equinox models in their inventory. The Sale's Consultant said yes, we have a few and asked if we were looking for a specific model. I said yes - an RS or Premier. The dealership confirmed yes we have both so we took a 1 hour drive over to them after confirming on the phone we wanted to see both models. When we arrived, both vehicles were detailed and parked waiting for my wife and I. Our Sales Consultant was there as well standing next to the vehicles.
That was a great experience. Everyone at the dealership was friendly. The experience was fun. It's nice to be treated well while shopping for a vehicle. The Sales Consultant went through all the features and details and pointed out the differences on both models. We made a final decision and left with a 2023 Equinox Premier. If there's anything negative to say is that during the financing the gentlemen handling the paperwork was pretty upset as we were reviewing the extreme interest rates. We were at a crossed road and were kind of about to backout of the purchase. But the financing manger did have options and explained to my wife and I that we might be losing the rebate $ for lower interest rate etc. Anyways, it got a little weird seeing someone toss their mobile phone. But ya? Whatever, we looked at the numbers and some minor adjustments were done and we were happy. We did not lose the rebate and got through the purchase. Phew Financing is 🤪!

You've been warned ⚠️ besides that, yes absolutely 💯 will be back and might buy again in the very near future for my parents and possibly my daughter.
