(February 3, 2020, 11:27 am)Our beloved Ekornes Stressless Royal chair's left armrest needed recovering and, in a web search, found Barb's Leather Care & Color in Chicago. She did an amazing job in reupholstering, color matching, and (not least importantly) customer service (whether by email, taking and returning phone calls, answering questions, or making suggestions for care of the chair). She made recommendations for care, made a headrest cover (a new addition for the chair), and just overall did a great job. We feel fortunate to have found someone of Barb's knowledge and skill. (June 30, 2018, 12:55 am)I have to say having multiple holes and a big hole in brand new leather couches did not make me a happy person. Barb honestly is the best. Explained everything that could be done with detail. Got back to me right away and actually came to my house the next day and repaired it in my home. My couches look exactly how they looked when I first recieved them. The price was very reasonable and espcially for the great work she does. I am so happy I got to meet Barb and have her makes my couches look brand new again and I even got some dog training tips😊 Thanks again Barb

(June 11, 2018, 5:11 pm)Barb is an incredibly meticulous crafts person who brought my 44 year old leather guitar strap back to life right in front of me, and repaired the front hole that goes over the strap button. I will not hesitate to go there again for leather repairs, and to recommend her to others!
