Helmer Septic

I have been using Helmer Septic for years at my previous house in Cary with my septic maintenance. So when it came time to move into a new house where the tank needed replacement they were my goto for the job. I highly recommend reaching out to the Helmers!

It was my first time ever qualifying for a credit card, so excited. Later realized did not have my ID, went back and stated to Crystal the cashier who processed the credit app. She immediately called the mgr Sean who came back with the video showing I had in hand when walking out the store. Security at the mall had it. Very nice workers!

Have not had to maintain a septic before and when a relative had their septic back up into their home, I decided I should probably avoid such a catastrophe and have our system pumped, just in case. We were under advice by the builder that "if you maintain the system properly by not letting certain waste materials down the drain and use enzymes regularly, we should not have to have the tank pumped. I am glad I did. We have a very full tank, in need of some serious attention.

I felt very comfortable with the explanation I received on how we could try to "right the wrongs of the past many years" of neglecting suggested maintenance. As much as one wants to believe that monthly enzymes are enough to keep the system running properly, the proof of what they showed me gumming up the system is enough for us to use the enzymes as an "enhancement only" to regularly scheduled pumping/maintenance. Plus, there is no such thing as a safe flushable wipe for a septic system. Who knew!?

I appreciate the frank and honest feedback, with suggestions for how to reduce waste that is getting into the tank and causing issues. They focused on the issue they were there for and not on adding additional services (i.e. pipe camera and clean out). I plan on sticking to the suggested every 6 months pumping until they say it is looking good enough to be on a normal maintenance schedule. Down the road, if they say I need to do more to keep it running well, I feel I will be able to trust their advice.

I called on a Tues and they picked up the phone right away. I had an appointment within the week! These guys were right on time, professional, polite and I have to say their trucks are eye-catching! (My grandson loves the emoji's!)

Sometimes deals are good. Slightly less open registers for checkout increases wait time.

I would highly recommend Helmer Septic to anyone. Their customer service is beyond amazing. This is my second time using them and they went above and beyond. I was having an issue with toilets and backing up constantly. Had a plumbing company come out first and was told my septic was full and that was the reason. I contacted Helmer and they were able to come out this morning and added me to the earliest slot. Drew explained everything to me and was able to recommend someone to help my issue in the future after the other company misdiagnosed it. You don’t always get an honest company, but this one definitely is and I will continue using them in the future.

Highly recommend Helmer Septic. The guys were friendly, experienced and explained how I can treat my septic system to function properly. Never owned one before and they were very helpful with answering my questions.

I can’t even begin to say enough good things about Helmers! Don’t even think twice about it. I would highly recommend you go with them for any septic needs. They were friendly, honest and so quick to respond. We have a full tank replacement and it went seamlessly! Don’t be fooled by the other quotes as that is where you get what you pay for and there are hidden fees. Helmer’s is the way to go, no question. Thank you Helmer’s for getting us back to normal here!

Clean, well stocked. Changing room was full of tried on clothes but at least had open rooms. Was a good experience shopping.
