Great rotating selection of single origin coffee beans. Nice coffee drinks & dessert options. Relatively decent pricing (as of now at least).
Staff is friendly and ambiance is also nice.

One suggestion - would be great if they would have one selection of brewed coffee & espresso from single origin as well (I've found this mostly as same selection of their house blend).

It is a nice little coffee shop. It isn't huge and when I came in of course many tables had middle age guys like myself working on laptops listening to chill music that sounded like the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack...so if you like Fleetwood Mac etc not bad vibe music. I tried the honey lavender latte simply because I was intrigued by the name and wondered how the said flavors would combine but for $6 I was not disappointed. I liked how the staff left the front door cracked to allow a breeze blow threw on a hot day. My only suggestion is that the get shade for the small tables outside as it was a great day but would have been in the sun the whole time.

As a budding coffee nerd, I am always recommending Hansa to friends. They have an excellent selection of freshly-roasted coffee beans (roast date is on the bag and usually is within the current week), sourced from coffee growers around the world.

Their selection of coffee drinks range from classic drip, to pourover, to classic espresso drinks, to sweet flavored espresso beverages. My favorite is their cortado (equal parts espresso and steamed milk, for an espresso-forward drink with a velvety texture).

A tip for ordering their sweet flavored espresso drinks: If you enjoy a more espresso-forward flavor, order the small size; if you prefer to taste more of the milk and flavoring syrups, order the large size. They do not change the amount of espresso between small/medium/large, so you can control your flavor preference by the size.

The baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable, and they do an excellent job with whatever drink you order.

Great find while taking a detour from my usual ride. Excellent espresso drink this time. Just off Sheridan Rd. On the cutoff to route 176.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the US. I’ve been coming to Hansa for almost a decade and couldn’t recommend it more. The coffee is fantastic, the baristas are always friendly, and their homemade syrups taste super fresh and natural, never like chemicals unlike many other coffee shops. I’ve been to places all over trying to find a nearby replacement but nothing really stacks up. I live an hour from here and still come by frequently!
