I am a recent first-time boat owner on the Chain O'Lakes. When I started shopping around, I talked with quite a few people in the area. One of the recurring things that came up was how important it was to find the right people to work with. Gordy's, and Jimmy Kelsey in particular, came highly recommended. The reviews you see here are the real deal. Jimmy is highly informed about the marine industry and the Chain. I worked with him to find a great boat at a price point that I was comfortable with. Everything was up-front with no surprises. In addition - the advice he has provided (and continues to provide) after the sale have been very much appreciated. Upon taking delivery of the boat, Jimmy took the time to walk through all of the functionality, including procedures for taking the boat out, maneuvering and docking. This experience has been fantastic, and I now feel like I have a partner for all of my future boating needs. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommended!

The team at Gordy's Lakefront Marine is awesome! I first met Jim Kelsey last year when my wife and I were shopping for a different boat. Needless to say, the "wish list" she wanted a boat to have made it seem like we were going to need to settle. After-all, it's like buying a house, right? Well, Jim took the time to listen and then showed us the light! Cobalt had it all! High-end quality of a luxury boat. Spacious and open like a pontoon. Huge, low swim platform like a ski-boat with the ride of a cruiser! Wow! Needless to say, we are now proud owners of a used 232 and love everything about it! Being a 10 years old vessel, I worked with Melissa in their service department (Fontana, WI) for a little updating. Upon dropping off the boat at Cobalt Farms, I didn't realize that it was going to be like a spa for boats! Just incredible! From sales to service and everything in between (such as local functions, group outings and customer appreciation events), we highly recommend Gordy's to anyone looking to get on the water!

We had a great experience purchasing our first boat from Jim at Gordys in Fox Lake. Jim took the time to listen to us and probably knew better what we were looking for than we did at the time. He found us a boat that was perfect for our situation. No question was ever too dumb. Upon delivery he took all the time we needed to be comfortable with the boat. He continues to check in periodically to make sure we are still good. Gordys is a great option for us as its a "on stop shop" from service to storage to accessories. I have had the opportunity to initially meet Gordy's in Fox Lake approximately 6 years ago. Since that time my experiences have been terrific. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable of the Cobalt product line and is more than willing to help- so that you consistently enjoy your boat. Jimmy Kelsey directed us to the best boat for our family and treats us more as a member of his family rather than a client. His professionalism and honesty is over the top. I can’t brag enough about him (Lord knows the number of people I have sent his way). In my world there is only 1 Cobalt dealer and that is Gordy’s.
