Gigi's Closette

From the time I walked in the door I was greeted with kindness!!! Gigi herself took care of my needs! I was freaking out cause my dress for a wedding wasn’t the right size and I was scared it wouldn’t get to me in time. From the reorder, to the alterations, to the hem, everyone were sweethearts. Gigi herself and her team are just amazing!

Gigi's Closette is to the wedding, prom and more formal every day wear (work etc.) haute couture fashion industry what a store run by Coco Chanel, Versace and Valentino would look like. ..
with (the late) Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy and Princess Di as its models.
Thrown in with some 'Betsey-Johnson-ISH' :) fun and flair for All ages in terms of hearts and femininity.

I.e. I LOVE Gigi's. I am back in my young girl, Make-a-Beeline-for -Anything-that-Sparkles mode in her store, and the sparkle is everywhere--

yet her gowns and clothing are refined, elegant and classically chic. There are No items in her store that speak tawdry or in poor taste--

I am a ballerina, (lesser of a gymnast and figure skater), and so well- exposed to beautiful, exquisite costumes and designs in the world of classical ballet.

But Gigi's never fails to meet my needs for weddings, dances, other formal events, and some of my day-to-day-work attire (retail and tutoring).

Her prices are reasonable; the store is NOT huge nor overwhelming but offers just-the-right-range of inventory; and one is sure to find something for the occasion.

Moreover- I trust her small staff to give recommendations I actually value. Gigi, (then Alphabetically) Christine, Constance, Danielle, Magdalena and Michelle-- are the type one would want as friends. I realize they are selling a product-- sure, its a business--but they give
Honest, down-to-earth advice on fit, style and best options withOUT any pushiness or manipulating a customer into a sale. . .

As a customer, I feel there is integrity in my interactions with them; they want me and their customers to leave looking and feeling their best -- in attire formal but that also reflects the individual's personality and allows them to Enjoy the event.

'No'-- I may not purchase my running-around tiresome errands- or going-to-the-gym attire from Gigi's-
but Yes absolutely rely on this boutique for events and some day-to-day work items of Quality, items that have lasted me for years.

I Love Gigi's Closette- highly recommend it--

I cannot say enough positive things about Gigi’s Closette!! When I walked in, I thought I was only going to get an idea for my dress, but I ended up walking out with the dress of my dreams!! The staff was amazing - so patient and really willing to go above and beyond to make sure that I had a positive experience buying my wedding gown. I tried on a lot of gowns (spending most of the afternoon there) and not once did they make me feel like I was unwelcome. They were just as excited about helping as I was about finding the dress. When I found the one, the seamstress came to work with me directly to get an idea of what would need to be done for alterations before I even purchased it. I would recommend this shop 10 times out of 10! Thank you so much Gigi!! And a huge thank you to Michelle as well!!
