We visited a few different schools including multiple Kindercare locations in hopes of finding a great place for our 4 year old daughter. Words cannot explain how much we appreciate the warm, kind, clean and professional environment of the Woodridge North Kindercare Learning Center. The Director, Ms.Kim and Assistant Director Ms. Amy are welcoming, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Ms. Grace and Ms. Judith are a dynamic duo. They are kind, patient, engaging and treat the children with such grace. My daughter's first school experience has been so wonderful! I truly appreciate how kind the staff members are, how clean the facility is and the healthy food options provided for our daughter. Woodridge North Kindercare is a gem and truly the best!
I cannot say enough about Woodridge North Kindercare! We have been taking our kids here for over four years and the staff has always been consistent, friendly, professional, reliable, and so much more. Whenever we have a question, the director or her staff respond immediately. Our children have thrived with the quality teachers that care so much about our kids. The kids look forward to going to KinderCare every day because the staff make learning fun. We appreciate the app that shares notes, stories, and photos of our kids throughout the day. They are so flexible, especially noted during this pandemic when our son has been doing remote learning. We love this place!
We are so thankful that we found the Woodridge North KinderCare for our son! The directors and teachers have created a warm, fun, caring and truly overall wonderful environment for all of the children that attend. The staff are experts and provide insights on his development, create and engaging variety of activities that are age appropriate and encourage him to learn through play, and give us parents useful insights. The safety protocols that have implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic ensure that our child and all other children attending will be safe. Everyone at this center really has the best interest of these kids at heart. We would recommend this to any parent that is looking for a great environment for their child. We fully trust all of the team members at KinderCare and are so grateful to have this wonderful center in our community!
Cannot say enough great things about our experience here. Every teacher is amazing as well as both the director and assistant director. They are like family to us now. Picking a place to take care of your children is very stressful but Kim (director) makes it so easy. My daughter grew so much here in every way possible. Every staff member here truly loves what they do and it shows. Looking forward to sending my son here when he is a bit older.
Woodridge North Kindercare has been part of our family's story since 2017, having cared for our 4 kids from the infant room all the way up through the school age room. From our initial tour of the center, I knew that this was a place that would love my kids like their own; and over the years, they have proven this time and time again. Whether it is collectively problem-solving for new behaviors or planning next steps for my children's development, the staff is always willing to talk, answer questions and most importantly...love my kids.
As an early childhood education center, Kindercare wins again. The efforts my children's teachers have made year after year to provide them opportunities to explore, create and play have been delightful. My kids come home every day with fun stories about the things they learned, the songs they sang, the stories they read or the silly games they played. When I have questions about my kids' development, they are always willing to talk or answer my questions. They are patient, they are kind and they are solution-focused.
Perhaps my favorite part of Woodridge North Kindercare, though, is that the staff and students here are truly a second family. It warms my heart to see how all of the kids and teachers know EVERYONE in the center. Family events (during non-Covid times) were always such a special opportunity to see how much all the kids in other classes--regardless of age, grade, race or ability--loved to be with each other. I would regularly see things like 8-year-olds running over and giving my preschooler a hug, talking to her like she was one of them. Every staff member --whether my children's teacher or not--given the opportunity, brims with joy to tell me stories about what they love about my kids. They really do take a team approach to loving and supporting every kid in their school.
The teachers, the directors and even the center's cook have continually gone above and beyond to show how much they love and support my kids and my family. The instances are truly too many to name, but here are a few to illustrate:
-Making homemade knit headbands for my girls
-Bringing in stuffed animals to cheer up my daughter when she went through a phase where drop offs were making her sad
-Giving me bags of clothes to welcome and clothe my newborn when we came upon an emergency
-Recognizing my panic and overwhelm as a brand-new foster parent who was in WAY over my head and offered comfort, support and encouragement
-Offering to come to my home and braid my daughter's hair when I didn't feel confident in my abilities and in doing so provided her a crucial connection during a turbulent time of another adult who cared about her
-Driving by our house during the pandemic closures with big signs and presents to let our daughter know she was missed and loved by her teachers
-Sending text messages to see how they are doing when they are out sick or to wish them well on special holidays
-Making/saving an extra "build a bear" dog for her when she missed a field trip because the teacher knew she would love it
Truly, too many special stories to name, but Woodridge North Kindercare continues to wow me all the time. Ms Kim and Ms Amy create an organized, compassionate and encouraging environment for their staff who then in turn can feel safe to help my kids to grow, learn and be their best.
I am forever grateful to the love and care of the Woodridge North family and would highly recommend for any parent who is looking for a place for their child to grow and thrive!
