I don’t tAke lessons here anymore but I did when I lived in IL, I decided to stay local in Indiana. But Dave is the man, incredibly knowledgable teacher and open to everything you show to him. His passion , skills, and everything make this guy the ideal teacher. He was a great find.

I've taken Piano lessons with Diane for the past 6 months and had an amazing experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable about a bunch of different styles and has the ability to teach people at all levels. I went from not knowing a whole lot about piano to playing entire songs that I only dreamed of being able to play. I couldn't recommend her more for anyone who wants to learn!

We can’t say enough good things about Dave and is staff at Westgate. Our kids have taken a variety of classes from multiple instructors. Dave and the teachers at Westgate are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and patient. I recommend Westgate Music School for families looking to introduce kids to a new instrument, as well as more seasoned musicians looking to improve their skills.

Great school to improve your musical skills or learn knew one’s. Inclusive to all ages, offering everything from vocal lessons to tons of different instruments to rock band and acapella groups at prices that are easy to fit in a working class budget. The teachers teach at the student’s pace tailoring the lessons to each student and challenging us. I’ve been participating in one of their rock band groups for adults for a few years now, learning to play guitar and just started taking vocal lessons as well. Every term we rehearse learning how to make music with other people and then have an end of term show where we can invite our friends to watch us rock out and make great music. Soooo much talent at the school with amazing, insightful, educated and experienced teachers with practical music experience in the real world. Love learning to make rock music from people who have participated in the local and even national music scene.

If you are looking for lessons, this is your place! Most of our family has taken lessons from Dave over the years. He is great with kids (even special needs) and adults. His love and appreciation for the music is contagious, and he teaches like it! Go to Westgate. Professionals all the way at neighborhood prices. Don't waste your time elsewhere. They have everything you need regardless of if you are just noodling around or you think you are the next big thing.
