WESHORN Design Build Remodeling

Weshorn is awesome! Wes is a detail-oriented person…I think he goes to sleep at night thinking of a different, or a better way to approach and improve a project. A couple of times during our whole house remodel project, he had that “hmmm…no” look to one of my many requests, to later find that he had figured out a way to make it work better than I could have imagined. We have had zero issues with his work. It felt as if we had a partner during the remodel project, and I did, His name is Wes! He made us very happy! I would call Wes again for any future projects, and if necessary, I would wait for him. He is a really nice man, with a lovely family. Thank you again Weshorn!!

Weshorn Design was a life saver! I was just weeks from moving into my new residence when I realized the contractor I had hired for my bathroom expansion completely botched the job, failing to correctly frame in the new bathtub and floor. Wes immediately identified the problem which was causing the caulk to crack around all of my hand-picked wall and tub tiles, and outlined a thorough plan to skillfully repair the job. Instead of gutting the entire bathroom, he told me they only needed to remove tiles one layer above and one layer around the bathtub in order to frame it in again, saving me substantial costs. They also removed the poorly installed floor tile with sub cement boards, and installed new underlayment, that will last a lifetime. In addition, they suggested I install new tile baseboard which was left out of the former contractor’s mindset. They even sourced a new sink backsplash that matched my new vanity. I am beyond thrilled with my new bathroom! I trusted Wes enough to give him the keys to my house because I was not entirely moved in yet. One morning when Wes and his team arrived he noticed water in my basement and he phoned me right away to let me know. He and his men cleaned up the water and his electrician determined that my sump pump was shot and my electrical panel needed upgrading, something that my home inspector failed to note. I had another electrician look at the job and he was much higher than the Weshorn quote, and also tried to talk me into extensive work I did not need. In short, if you want a contractor that is dependable, honest and produces high quality work that lasts, I definitely recommend you give Wes a call. I would trust him with any kind of design, construction, electrical, plumbing and carpentry work. He is smart, very reasonably priced and just an all-around good guy!

I live in Arlington Heights and had Weshorn Design and Construction complete two bathroom remodels. They provided 3D designs based on our conversations. Their work and work ethics were impeccable. The owner worked with me in picking out tile, cabinets, etc. Once work began they were there early and stayed late completing the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up on a daily basis and were very professional and friendly. I am completely satisfied with their work and would gladly have them back to do other work. I would recommend them because they take pride in their work doing an outstanding job.

We purchased a $50 deal for a bathroom remodeling consultation with 3D renderings.

Wes was punctual, polite, professional and patient. He had a good mix of listening to our ideas and providing his own and for $50 was more than generous with his time. A few days after meeting with us he e-mailed renderings which were well done. When we contacted him about some missing elements he revised and sent updated renderings. We asked him for an estimate to do the remodel which he also e-mailed. After we got additional estimates we choose WESHORN Design and Construction.

From beginning to end they were GREAT! Wes created amazing 3D renderings for our kitchen and bathrooms. Their quality and attention to detail was amazing. Wes was our project manager and he kept everything in order and on track. He provided us with all the details on the project.
We hired WESHORN Design & Construction after seeing their sign on our street, we had the chance to see the kitchen and bathroom that he remodeled and we loved it.They did an amazing job painting the outside, replacing the old windows, finishing the hardwood floors, tiling the fireplace, kitchen and main entrance. They remodeled two bathrooms and the kitchen helping us find a layout that we
wanted including an island. They also built a frameless shower in our master bathroom with LEDs under the vanities. After seeing the hard work and dedication they provide, we would recommend them to everyone who looks for quality construction and design. The project was
completed on time on budget, and they didn't leave a mess for us to clean up. The home looks fantastic, and everything is functioning well.
