St. Mary School

I highly recommend St. Mary’s School DeKalb. We moved from the public school system last year into private and my son is thriving! I interviewed with several private schools in the area and felt most at home here. The staff is kind, caring and supportive. Everyone knows my son and my family which never happened in the public school system. The academics are stellar and continually push students to reach. Dedicated staff committed to excellence for your child. As a parent, that is priceless!

My son has been at this school for six years- from preschool through 3rd grade so far. He loves it; we love it too!

Because the classes are smaller and the school is smaller, the children are seen as the individuals they are. The teachers authentically care about the students in an individualized manner.

We love that our son is challenged and encouraged to work hard. We love the friends he’s made and the connection he has found personally with the school and its mission. We love the sense of belonging we feel, as a family, for being a St. Mary Family.

We absolutely love St. Mary's! It is an incredible environment for our kids and a supportive and welcoming community for our entire family. It is a blessing to have a school that partners so well with us as parents to educate them well, prepare them for life, and, most importantly, form them in the faith.

I attended St. Mary School kindergarten through 8th grade and it was a wonderful school. My 5 year old just finished his first year of preschool at St. Mary and is so excited to begin kindergarten in August. I have so many amazing memories growing up and attending St. Mary and I love that my son now gets to have the same experience. I highly recommend St. Mary School as a former student and now as a parent.

My son has attended St. Mary's School DeKalb for 5 years now. We've absolutely loved the school from the first day we toured. We had such a relaxed vibe from the teacher giving the tour as well as from the principal. We feel our son is very supported and we've been very impressed with the academics, test scores and specials they offer. My husband and I highly recommend the school for anyone looking to start their child's academic journey or switch schools.
