I am so glad to have found this place! Called in an emergency after severe neck pain and was seen same day! With the help of shock wave and pulse therapy I finally have full frange of motion in my neck. Something I hadn’t experienced in probably the last year!! I’m very grateful for Dr. Knox and her team, 10/10 would recommend!!

I am so glad that I found Proper Balance! I have walked by it for years, not paying any attention! Dr. Knox created a wellness plan within my budget and almost instant relief to my back pain that I have been dealing with on and off for years. Each time you go in for an adjustment, they always ask how you’re feeling, trying to perform adjustments to relieve the pain you are currently feeling or provide the best stretches for that area of your body. The stretches they taught me are now in my daily workout routine, hopefully aiding in preventing this injury from happening moving forward. Also, a huge thanks to Dr. Rachel!

I love Dr. Knox and Proper Balance! I have been a patient of Dr. Knox since around 2008. They have always been there for me. I suffered from migraines, and they fixed it! I have not had a single migraine after I started seeing Dr. Knox and got adjusted. My pregnancy was a nightmare. Dr. Knox made sure that I did not not have any head-, back- and neckaches. So much better than taking Tylenol! I frequently feel that I am 70 when I am on my way to see Dr. Knox and leave Proper Balance feeling that I am 20. I occasionally have headaches and/or can't focus. I also do something crazy (yoga? 😁) and pull some muscle in my neck or back. One adjustment (and occasionally, a massage), and it all goes away. Massages are the best, and they truly help. This place is awesome!

I could not be happier with the relief I received from Dr. Knox and her team at Proper Balance. At about 35 weeks pregnant, I had pain that was impacting my ability to walk comfortably and my usual exercises weren’t helping. I needed something that would bring quick relief and be efficient to fit my schedule. With the pregnancy chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy I received at Proper Balance, I felt relief in just two short visits and with continued visits have minimal pain. I’d highly recommend working with Dr. Knox for relief of aches and pains during pregnancy.

Dr. Knox and her team are amazing.
I walked in with back pain and the intention to correct my posture. Dr. Knox was incredibly thorough with the exam (X-rays, explanations, computer animations etc.).
After that, she developed a treatment plan tailored towards my specific needs. It always feels like you are her only patient, and she truly cares about your wellbeing and your progress.
Steve is great to work with, he explained how to use all the equipment based on your needs, supervises your workout, and pushes you when you need it.
Sam is incredibly knowledgeable and it is always very interesting to hear his assessments and analysis after the treatments.
It has not only been a pleasure and it will continue to be a pleasure to work with everyone there, but it has also drastically reduced my backpain and corrected my posture noticeably.
I cannot recommend them enough.
