Northwoods Falls

Atmosphere was nice & clean. Staff was nice. Chili was okay, I thought it tasted too close to pot roast. The beef vegetable soup was good. Bluegill was real good, tartar sauce delicious. Fried Meatloaf had too savory of a flavor, almost like Thanksgiving stuffing was mixed into it. The appearance, portions & texture was okay though. I love seasonings this was too much for me. French fries were real good. Next time we will try the burgers or pasta.

We’ve been excited to come back after several years & the new Northwoods Falls did not disappoint! Excellent food, service by Miss Lexi, pricing & overall atmosphere. Thank you for filling our hungry bellies with home cooked love. Looking forward to returning soon with our family.

We haven't been here in about 12 years and not since new owners bought it. Food was really good. Atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. We didn't sit in the outside area but will next time. We took a short walk out there and it is amazing. We will def be back and especially to check out their bar bingo on Monday nights.

This restaurant makes me feel like I'm on vacation 🌲, I absolutely love the lodge atmosphere here, and even the view out of the windows feels like this building is tucked in the middle of the woods.
The food is fantastic but what really puts it over the top is the ✨coffee✨.... So delicious 🤤.
Both the breakfast and dinner menus are good! I had the goldi-lox scramble this morning and oh man it was so tasty, such a great combination 🤌. Our waiter was attentive and it's shockingly easy to get seated, obviously still a hidden gem so far.

NORTHWOODS FALLS Restaurant located on Rt 41 just South of Rt 30 in St. John, IN is a reputable establishment with Northern charm. It is a sizable restaurant log cabin that can host parties, special occasions or family/friends lunch or dinner. (Upstairs area hosts seating for larger parties.) When you walk in you will be greeted by towering carved bears and overhead a taxidermist dream of mountain lions, buffalo, elk and the like of animals. An array of carvings & northwoods
memorabilia surround every turn you take! On the weekends Northwoods Fall hosts live bands on stage in the bar portion of this place. The food is pure comfort & very good with something for everyone. Price point is comparable to other similar venues. I found restaurant is roomy, clean, servers attentive & friendly! I tried the Mile High Chocolate Cake which was truly a (mile high) for dessert .. Portion size for 2-4 persons to share. I although found it to be dry :( & I am not one to point out trifle flaws in my reviews but hopefully the restaurant can address .. it was a beautiful presentation & grande! I do recommend Northwoods Falls restaurant for good hearty food, date nights & families with children. My reviews are my opinions and I am not affiliated with any establishment I do review.
