Very kind people in this community and extremely helpful mediation and self-worth tools that I've already used countless times.

This place -- along with its other location in Wicker Park -- has helped be become a much happier and nicer person (according to my husband). The classes are focused on very practical things that stay with me through all the other things I do. So that each class helps for days and days as I see different parts of my life that relate. The teachers are very accessible, and often use a warm sense of humor to get their point across. And everyone there is friendly and welcoming. It seems like they go out of their way to help newcomers feel at home. When you first walk in, there's a little shop area with meditation books and other essentials. There's a middle room with comfy chairs for hanging out. And then the meditation room where they hold classes, which is so quiet and peaceful. Coming from the city, parking is always a cinch. Or the Blue Line is also an option. Right now, because of the pandemic, they're doing classes online, by live stream. It's not quite the same as being there in person, but it's pretty close. Because you can still ask questions by typing them in, and they even have little social video chats after some classes.

I love coming to this meditation center! Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. The teachings here are very practical and easier to understand compared to other Buddhist traditions I've tried, and it feels very accessible and modern. The classes help me to become a better, more patient, more loving person. There's also a great bookstore with Buddhist books and small gift items!

This is a wonderful place. The people there are very welcoming. The drop in classes are a great introduction for people new to / curious about meditation. For serious practitioners there are advanced classes available. For increased happiness and peace of mind, this is my go to spot.
