I have been with Josh for about a month and a half now. My 13 year old daughter and I visit him weekly for guitar lessons. We had been looking around the area for a suitable teacher but had a difficult time finding anything affordable that wasn’t a group setting. My daughter excels much better in one on one settings and Josh has been exceptionally patient and instructive with her. She’s engaged, excited, and really learning. We could not be happier with the lessons and are rapidly learning the basics of guitar play. Josh has an in depth knowledge of music fundamentals and will teach you the right way to learn an instrument. Highly recommended. Could not be happier!

I would HIGHLY recommend taking a lesson from Joshua! As someone who's been away from guitar for about 7 years/always been nervous to play in front of people, Joshua has helped me feel comfortable playing and given me back the motivation for daily practice. After taking lessons with multiple guitar teachers in my area, I found Josh and took lessons from him for years. More than anyone else he helped me to learn how to play guitar proficiently, read music fluently, and develop a good ear. I went from knowing not much more than a beginner’s version of Blackbird to being able to play a full set of music on guitar for an audience confidently and easily. Definitely reach out to Josh if you want to ACTUALLY learn guitar!

Josh is an amazing teacher. I never thought I could pick up guitar this late in life but he makes it really fun and I go home wanting to practice every lesson. He is also super responsive to calls or texts when I have questions!
