Andrew Scienski is more than a good plumber; he is a smart and wise plumber. I called him for a plugged drain from kitchen sink to outside drain/grease trap in our 60+ year old house in a northern suburb about 2 weeks ago. I was worried it was going to take a lot of time and effort to unplug the drain because I thought the only access was thru an old rusted plug to the 2 in. drain line from the sink. My past experience working at oil refinery with pipe and connections of all types had me worried.

Andrew arrived and quickly evaluated the situation and first tried to clear the line with an auger from the outside. That helped but didn't completely clear it. He then came inside and used a smaller portable electric auger to try and get the rest of it. He had to open the P-trap under the sink and was able to clear plug completely from the sink. He did all this in less than an hour. The P-trap was reconnected and the sink drained better than ever. He knows his tools and when to use them and does not take the difficult and time consuming method to fix plumbing problems. He's the smart plumber you want!

By the way, avoid using stainless steel (ss) pot scouring pads and pouring any type of oil or grease down the drains, the ss leaves small bits or ss in pipe which don't dissolve and mix with grease in cold and harden into lumps!

Andrew Scienski helped me with a plumbing issue on my older house on NW side of Chicago which I recently sold. I discovered a leak in an old galvanized steel pipe in the basement after I had been renovating other parts of the house. After looking over the leak with Andrew and the condition of the other piping in basement, we decided it might be better to replace all the water piping in the basement with new copper pipe. This would make the 70 year old house more reliable and an easier sale.

The piping replaced was all the old galvanized pipe from inlet to all basement appliances like water heater and newer furnace, and to bath and kitchen facilities in upper floor, Andrew and his partner came in removed all the old pipe and replaced it with properly sized copper pipe installed per code in one day. He remove old pipe and the water flow was so much better and looked great and no leaks, I think, for a long time. Andrew has helped me with smaller jobs like a kitchen sink/faucet upgrade before with success, but this was a real big help, I think, with making the house easier to sell,

The best thing was there were no call backs and I sold the house a few months later, quicker and for more than I expected!

We are very happy with the electrical work Dan and his team did in our kitchen and family room. Dan explains everything in detail, going through all the options. They are a very professional team. And as if colored electrical wires, switches and outlets are not interesting on their own, Dan makes it more interesting with his good sense of humor! I recommend this company very much!

I am very pleased with this business. We have used them numerous times and always satisfied with the work. We highly recommend them. Dan Ryan was an electrician that came to help with some new lighting and he was just the nicest person and very efficient. He looks like Santa and my kids thought the same thing and he was a doll how he played along. He has a warming personality that made us feel like we have known him. Very personable and communicated very well with us. He did such a great job and was a pleasure to have here. If you get the pleasure to have him come and do some work on your home you will not be disappointed.

A special shout out to Andrew Scienski for his plumbing work in my house. He was able to detect and fix a leak in my upstairs bathroom that was causing damage to my ceiling. He was a life saver. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my plumbing issues other than Andrew. His work is top notch and he is VERY professional. Thanks again for your work Andrew!!
