An beautiful walking path with cute look-out points and sitting areas. Definitely beautiful views along the paths.

The views are awesome now that they've drained the ponds and you can see the creek flowing through the bottom land. Look as if it may be good fishing too, although I haven't tried it.

My boyfriend and I took a stroll on the path located there. It wasn't busy even though it was afternoon, the area was well kept, and the path we walked wasn't super long. Its very peaceful out there. I can certainly see myself spending more time there. Well worth it if you just want to feel like a moment away from the hustle & bustle of town.

This is a very nice Lake County Forest Preserve which covers over 500 acres. A small area is easily and quickly accessible on a rather subdued 2.24 mile trail of crushed limestone.

This is an easy, mostly flat trail with several lookouts / rest areas. The trail consists of one small loop, and one in-and-out spur.

This Preserve is primarily a conservation area, as the waterway and actual woods are inaccessible via the provided trail. This area is easily traversed when the ground is frozen; however, boots are still recommended.

Amenities include a paved parking lot, and a solidly built washroom which locks.
