I just wanted to say that I have been seeing Jodi for almost a month now and I am so grateful. I am a busy business owner who rarely has time for ME. Since I have been doing Pilates with Jodi I feel great both mentally and physically. If I am having a bad day she has the right things to say but also provides a great workout so I can feel good physically as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking into investing into themselves as it is so worth it.

I've been twice now for Becca's hot yoga session on Monday evenings. She leads you through a different flow each time. She is very good about easing into the practice, makes it challenging, and then eases to a nice finish. I appreciate that she has a good mix of stretching and then some challenging holds or poses that help you push yourself to new limits and build strength. She also provides options to make the poses easier or more challenging depending on how you're feeling that day. The ambience of the studio is very cute, clean, and there is a nice scent to the room. The heat gets up to about 99 so you get a good sweat from the hot yoga session as well. I will be back and excited to attend some of the other classes they offer!

From starting here as a moderate beginner in yoga; the variety of classes and experienced instructors has lead me so much further in my practice. The kindness and cleanliness of the environment is a huge plus, but not only that; the spiritual guidance and understanding from the head instructor, Jodi, takes EOL to a different level. If you are ready for a physical and mental transition, you need to look no further.

The staff and members of Essence of Life really turn into family. It's such a positive and healthy environment, that one can really enjoy the extra workshops and events that this family has to offer. Highly recommend!

I never thought I would like group fitness classes. But I was finding it hard to stick to any fitness routine at home. I started slow with one yoga class a week last October. What I found was I LOVE yoga. I tried another studio through Groupon, but it didn’t compare to the experience and atmosphere of Essence of Life. It’s not just Yoga I love, but the whole experience. I slowly advanced myself into the various classes they offer. I now do 4 workouts a week. I feel and look better than I have in many years. I’m down 30 lbs thanks to the awesome instructors who plan different workouts each class. I never get bored and am always challenged. And just when I think it gets easier, they change things up and kick my butt again. The other clients are also welcoming and supportive. I love all the instructors and am so thankful for their support and encouragement. Without them I know I would not have continued exercising.

I have been to the studio a couple of times to take classes with Christine one of the best instructors there, totally recommend. First time i went in i was quite nervous because i didn't know anyone but everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. During class i noticed everyone had a different level of advancement which again made me nervous however, Christine was very comforting about me being new to the experience. After a couple minutes i started to get probably a little too comfortable because i thought "wow this is easy" but boy was i wrong. Lets just say i got my a** beat in a good way! Definitely going back hopefully soon.
