Popular spot. Lovely for running, biking, and canoeing in the summer. Lovely for cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter. Noisy by the highway.

I love Erickdon Woods. Sometimes it's got a lot of foot and bike traffic but, even so, it's still usually quiet and peaceful. You'll see deer, heron, and other wildlife here and there, too!

Dogs are welcome on leash. Ocassionally, you'll come across people who disregard the rules but you'll get that everywhere, I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nice wooded area by the main streets. A little open area with a covered picnic area by the pond. The trails seemed mainly used for biking. We walked for 20 mins then left looking for a more walk friendly trail. Porter potty at parking area and trash bins.

Best picture you will ever take especially if you have an iPhone
We saw a baby deer and a mother with her baby chicks 😍
I do recommend OFF for mosquitos and some extra clothes so mosquitos won't bite. You will also need a flash light on your phone or a regular light because it might get dark ☪️
10/10 would 100% recommend to someone who loves exploring, fishing, and photography

Beautiful place for a winter hike. Trails are well marked and you can get a good view of a lagoon and creek through the trees!
