El Salto Mexican Restaurant

1st time. Service was great waitress friendly and interactive. Food..delicious but refried beans different than I've ever had. Margaritas oh boy...wish I could've had more. I want to see if they sell their mix. Can't wait to go there again!! I live near galena il. I will go there again

Our party of 9 came in on a Saturday afternoon and our server Nayeli was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly and patient and made suggestions. She knew the menu backwards and forwards. She so attentive and our drinks were never low. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us happy. I wish more servers were like Nayeli! And she was especially nice to the kids in our party. Will be returning for more great food and service!

Went for taco Tuesday. Great value on tacos ($2 for ground beef or shredded chicken) and Margaritas ($5 for regular size). The chicken were pretty good. Was a beautiful evening so Sat out on the patio. Our server was very nice but I overall service was a bit slow. All in all it was a decent place.

I was told it's a newly open location now it's one of my top three favorites of Northwest Indiana restaurants their portions are fantastic drinks are spectacular and caused a great conversation between us for their creative glasses service was done with smiles and appreciation the menu is budget friendly and reasonable for top end meals El salto's restaurants are definite yes for lunch dinner or take home it's placed in a new strip mall it has very clean table floors washroom facilities this was a 100% positive experience for our group not one thing we could complain about at all not that we wanted to enjoy
