Dr. Robert Martinez

The building is always clean, the doctor is patient when listening to my health concerns and I feel comfortable with the staff. My whole family has been seeing Dr. Martinez for years. He is also bilingual which is always a plus!

One of the best doctors I have ever had. He was very knowledgeable, kind and experienced. I was so happy with my experience that I recommended him to my family and friends. I normally am very afraid of needles or blood draws, but Dr. Martinez was terrific. I never even felt the needle go in. He eased my worries and consulted me in a very professional manner.

The doctor seems genuinely concerned about his patients. Takes appointments with short notice. Answers questions thoroughly and takes the time to educate his patients.
I don't always go to the doctor, but when I do I prefer Dr Martinez.

I have been to quite a few Primary Care Physicians throughout my lifetime and Dr. Martinez is one of the best! All the others I have gone to were much younger and insisted on referring me out to specialists for every little thing. Dr. Martinez actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and is willing to do many small procedures in house. Many offices won't give you an appointment for at least 1 week, but Dr. Martinez has always been able to take me the same day.

Working in the health care system, you learn that every patient is NOT the same and you do NOT always have to write a Rx every time a lab value doesn't fall within the "normal range". Everyone is different and everyone's "normal" is different too, for certain things symptoms are much more indicative of a need to treat rather than a lab value being slightly under or slightly over the suggested "normal range". Being a seasoned physician, Dr. Martinez truly understands this and does NOT just throw meds at you.

The office has a very nostalgic feel, but has gone through many changes in the past 5 years. They now e-scribe prescriptions, have an electronic healthcare record, and accept credit. Longwood Medical Arts may not look like much from the outside, but the inside is beautifully decorated and the waiting room is well kept.

He's considerate well mannered people person. He listens to every concern you tell him. I've been going to him for over 10 years not once has he treated me like a pay check or yes another patient he's always treated my family and I like family.
We I was diagnosed with nonhodgkins lymphoma cancer he was so gentle and made me feel like I can conquer this & I did with him by side. Thank you Dr. Martinez you are truly a blessing.
