Dorm 2 - Fermilab

Great experience overall. 3D glasses were pretty gross, bring hand sanitizer to get those bad boys cleaned up. The boy that handed them to us had zero personality. I simply asked him how he is doing today and he stated at me, ignored me. I said have a good day and removed myself haha. The people at concessions were amazing. We had a small conversation and I'd like to remind all customers to treat these people and all service workers with kindness they are humans too and deserve to be noticed and appreciated for doing what they do. Thank you AMC, overall I really enjoyed it here and I've never been. Snacks were great, seats were comfy, theater was comfy. I'd be happy to go again. I'll get a hello from the 3D glasses kid someday 🤣

We are still trying to figure out if the 1st level movie theatre is open at Oakbrook🤷? Weird having 2 so close in proximity. Makes a difference where you park!
Theatre was fine it was more the patrons and the reclining seat usage that was a downfall.
We arrived before movie started, house lights still on, but
#1 someone was in our seats about mid row and
#2 we wouldn't have been able to get to them as everyone had their seats reclined and none was making an effort to retract them!
We ended up taking different seats in another row.😡

The seats are reclinable, and there is plenty of space to cross in between rows. The recliners are spacious.
Temperature was great, not to cold or too hot!
Bathroom are very convenient too.
Overall, an amazing experience!

We love going to this place to watch movies. It was clean and the staff were fast to get us inside. We saw a movie in 3d and it was great. Great food and popcorn!

I stayed here for a one-night stay for business last week and loved this property.

This AMC is huge! I love how updated and clean it is. We drove out of cook county to this location. They are still accepting non vaccinated people ( mask mandate still enforced). The leather red recliner seats add to the updated feel. I appreciate not having to seat in butter covered seats ( aka my childhood in the 90s). Overall it's worth a visit if you are in the area!

Pleasant and nice dorm as well as all the other dorms of the Village. The perfect place where to stay if you have to spend some time at Fermilab.

It is basic but cheap and close to fermilab facilities (sort of). Bring snacks and be prepared to go out or cook for dinner.

Nice and quite place, lots of nature around

Quite convenient if you are working at fermilab for the summer.
