I worked here for nearly a year and recently moved on but I continue to shop here. I loved my coworkers and I had the absolute Best manager ever. Everyone who works there has something to offer and is a good asset!! But too many times actually almost every day we would get terrible, entitled, disrespectful customers that would contribute to making our jobs harder. But aside from that… This store is probably the best Dollar General in Waukegan! I still get greeted when I shop and I’m able to have a good laugh and get what I need.

I've been shopping here almost 10 years. In the last 2 years I've found the staff to be AMAZING! They're so helpful and caring. It's nice they recognize my 2 son's and myself. There are 2 employees in particular that deserve recognition- Ken and Bri. They make every visit welcoming. 10/10

I love going this location... I'm always greeted with warm welcomes...Pedro is the best there he's always full of energy and makes you laugh Bree is always helpful and will assist you with whatever you need help with...Barb is definitely like a mother figure to me I always call her my mom... I love this dollar General definitely a family away from home..love them all!!!!!!
