    We got a nail in our tire while camping at Shabbona Lake. Diamond Lube was recommended to us by the first place we stopped at that wasn’t able to fix the tire. Steve was super helpful and they got us patched up and ready to go within 30 minutes. We’re from out of town, otherwise I would make them my new mechanic! Highly recommend!

    Diamonds Lube is a small local garage that charges fair prices for quality work. I have never had any notable issues with the service they have provided. If all you need is an oil change, it seems to be quick and painless to get it taken care of. My only issue is that they can be a bit hard to get a hold via phone. I recommend you stop in to see when they are able to perform services. Overall recommended to anybody requiring automotive work to be completed.

    Superb work at a fair price. Hard to find good mechanics that put the customers needs above their own. Had a rusted brake line give out, and needed it done pronto. It was around closing, and he said he really couldn't get me in till Thurs. that week. I needed it fixed by the next day, and was going to leave to continue my search, but he (Steve, the owner)told me to go and get the car. He and another mechanic stayed 2 hrs past closing and finished the job...and didn't take me to the cleaners, like they could've!
    I can never thank those guys enough!!
