(Previously posted) This is a very nice place to try something that you won't regret if you do not like it. In general, I like everything I have done, and I am ok with some mistakes, no need to say: they are students. Price excellent, staff and students very friendly, but two things I would like to leave here as a constructive critic: I did lip waxing with a young girl who seemed to be sick, breathing over my face, and she was not wearing mask! I felt extremeely uncomfortable. With or without mask law, I recomment the use of it when dealing so close to the customer. The other thing I had on the same day was a hair treatment and my hair was not washed not before not after. Just rinsed. I believe that hair washing should be mandatory on all treatments. I hope this helps. My 3 stars could be 4 or 5, but those details I believe are very important for the customer.

My kids love this place, also me. Nice playground and beautiful view of the lake 😍

We love coming here, especially during pre season when it’s free! The playground is HUGE and the majority of it is toddler friendly. The sand is plentiful and water is great to cool off in.

The Vernon Hills salon is amazing. They actually believe in customer service here. I was very satisfied with with the way they handled my issue. JB the manager and Christine were great!

Been going here for a few months. I can confidently say I trust Heather and Devin for my platinum blonde. Not everyone can do it as double processes are not easy and somewhat stressful from my understanding, but I left with minimal damage and the bright blonde I wanted when going to them. When I went to a different colorist and they didn't do it the way I wanted, they had me come back with no issue to make it right.

I have had my hair cut by both Denise and Bobbi! Both these ladies did an exceptional job! I recommend either of them 110%

Yesterday was my first time and i was so impressed!! Very clean, very friendly stuff and the water just perfect! The beach stuff gave us a locker even if we didn t rent anything from them! We really had a good time paddle boarding!

Nice beach allowing residents and guests to swim in. There is an entrance fee. Across the street is a big accessible parking lot with a crosswalk to the entrance. Inside there is a playground for kids with soft rubber ground. Many picnic benches to enjoy a bite to eat amongst the shade of the trees. There's a boat launch at this location as well, to the right of the entrance. There seems to also be a concert setup for some performances, courtesy of TMO. Area was clean and they were just working on the sand at the beach beginning of 2022 season

I love Crystal Lake Beach. People are friendly, the beach is clean and has a lot of beautiful scenic areas; concession stand offers a wide variety of snacks at affordable prices; staff is very accommodating; lots of activities to do like paddle boats, sailing; Tuesday concerts in summer is always a very fun treat for the whole family!
