We have been using Core Construction exclusively for our Inverness remodeling projects since 2013 when they installed our cast stone fireplace surround. They recommended an alternate product and source, measured and built it custom to our specs and saved us money. It was done with such precision that no wall, floor or trim needed touch up upon completion even where they added electric wall sconces with wall dimmers.

In 2015 they did a major Primary Bedroom/Bath Suite renovation including moving and adding walls for a walk-in closet; removing walls to reconfigure the tub area; retiling the floor and walls with natural stone; replacing vanities and lighting; adding a makeup area; and adding a cabinet storage wall for shoes, sweaters, jewelry, etc. And they finished with painting. They used the latest products like LED lighting and a very quiet, strong bathroom fan.

In 2021 we were preparing to sell and they installed a slate kitchen floor and new appliances; removed old wallpaper, wooden valances and painted including a 16’ ceiling; and replaced sliding glass doors and a window.

In 2022 they remodeled the unfinished basement in our new home in Elgin creating a bedroom, full bath, recreation room, workshop, home gym, off season closet, and two storage rooms. Core planned and executed the moving of the duct work and plumbing in the low ceiling; assisted with design layout; moved the stairs; and did all the work needed to provide insulation, walls, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, ceiling and electrical for TVs, cable, lighting, etc. Every switch and outlet was planned for convenience. And as before, the latest products in lighting and plumbing were used. To make everything easier on us, all materials were brought in through the basement window.

They stand behind their work and have only been needed to come out to repair 1 cracked stone tile. We couldn’t be happier with their work product, ethics, planning and scheduling. They worked 8-5 M-F and completed our projects on schedule.
